Working With Red Bull
As a graphic designer and event production specialist, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Red Bull, a globally recognized brand that is synonymous with energy, excitement, and innovation for almost a decade. A diverse company, these projects ranged from their music and culture program, to sports, to on-premise and festivals.
I love working with a company that understands the value of strong visual content and appreciate the high standard they require in content. Below is a showcase of some of the projects I’ve gotten to work on with the Red Bull team.
BC ONE WORLD FINALS NEW YORK
A culmination of the year’s best breakers congregated at the birthplace of Hip-Hop. We converted the historical Hammerstein Ballroom into a battle arena.
El Capitale - BC One Camp Venue
One of the highlights of my time working with Red Bull was coordinating with the international, local, media, comms and productions teams simultaneously during the planning, setup and live execution of the Red Bull BC One 2022 Season. This was an incredibly intricate project and my attention to detail and ability to multitask were essential in ensuring good communication amongst all teams involved, and executing on all requests efficiently. Hundreds of assets were designed, produced and utilized over an 8-month span for 13 markets before the finals itself in November.
The World Final required 6 months of planning and site visits with Red Bull staff, creative, and the production team to guarantee the high-level execution Red Bull is known for. The results were an epic success of both the BC One Camp at the venue El Capitale and the World Final at Hammerstein Ballroom. Both venues required customized graphics and build outs with continually evolving floor plans up until the day doors opened. Flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly was a necessity for success.
I work closely with Red Bull's on- and off-premise teams to create custom graphics for various venues and festivals both locally and nationally. Creating custom menus, one-off artistic items, and branded merchandise to enhance the overall experience for event attendees, my designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, adding a unique and memorable touch to each event.
In addition to my work on physical items, I also have contributed to the digital experience of events. I created live stream graphics and animated elements that were used in online promotions and during live events. My work helped to elevate the Red Bull brand and create a cohesive and engaging experience for attendees and viewers alike.
Red Bull Sound Select
Red Bull Sound Select was a series of curated music events that took place in cities across the United States, featuring a diverse range of emerging and established artists. My role was to create poster graphics and miscellaneous assets including items like merchandise or random items like novena candles .
Working with the Red Bull team, I built graphics to cater to the unique style and energy of the musicians and markets they performed in. Some of the artists I feel honored to have design for include Run The Jewels, Kali Uchis, Mick Jenkins, D.R.A.M. and so many more.
